Patron Sponsors may choose a favorite horse show class or hunter division to sponsor, and are listed as such in the Program Book and on the website. Children of the families who become Patron Sponsors are encouraged to help hand out ribbons and trophies, and help to create the Myopia Horse Show’s fun, family atmosphere.

Patron Sponsors receive invitations to the Opening Cocktail Party held under the Patrons’ Tent on Saturday, August 30th. This year, a Calcutta will be held to auction off the Derby Cross teams entered in the new $5,000 Gold Star competition that is sure to attract even more top level three day eventers and show jumpers. Tables at the elegant Patrons’ Luncheon are reserved for Patron Sponsors, where a gourmet luncheon catered by Timothy Hopkins Catering is served during the Mini-Prix and Derby Cross classes. A ladies’ hat contest is planned this year, complete with prizes.

Patron Sponsors also receive V.I.P. parking passes and can park ringside during Sporting Hunter Day. Tailgate picnicking is encouraged!

Advertisement space is offered to Patron Sponsors in the Program Book and may be used to thank trainers, and horses, or to wish family and friends good luck.

Patron Sponsorships available:

• Derby Cross Gold Star Sponsor - $6,000 (exclusive or shared)
  Derby Cross is the exciting new team race combining cross country and show jumping . Each round is set to music, and was the biggest crowd-pleaser at the 2007 horse show. This year, we are offering the Open Division a $5,000 purse to attract even more world class Three Day Eventers and Show Jumpers.
• Master of Ceremonies/Ring Sponsor -$5,000 (exclusive)
  The Mini-Prix Show Jumper Ring will be named after your family, listed as such on posters, program book, and prize list.
• Hunt Team Challenge Sponsor - $5,000 (exclusive or shared)
  Teams of three or more riders in formal fox hunt attire astride matching horses jump the outside course side by side. As sponsor of this exciting, elegant class you are invited to present the winning team with the Hunt Team Challenge Cup.
• Old Campaigner’s Cup Sponsor- $5,000 (exclusive or shared)
  The old Campaigner’s Cup Sponsor is one of the Myopia Horse Show’s favorite traditions. During the lunch break on Jumper Day, the oldest show horses known as “Campaigners” are led out mounted with the show’s youngest riders for the crowd-pleasing Lead Line Equitation class. As Sponsor of this beloved class, you are invited to hand out blue ribbons and prizes to all of the entries with the president of the Myopia Hunt Club.
• Derby Cross Brass or Bronze Star Sponsor $1,500 each (exclusive)
  Because the Derby Cross was so popular last year, two classes on Sunday for children and novice level riders have been added: Bronze Star at 2’11” and Brass Star at 2’6”.
• Jump Sponsor - $1,200
  Your family name on one of the jumps during the Jumper Show. Listed as such in Program Book.
• Hunter Show Division Sponsor - $1,200
  One of the Hunter Show Divisions named after your family, listed as such in the program book. Opportunity to present Division championship ribbons. Six invitations to the Patrons’ Luncheon, and three V.I.P. parking passes.
• Horse Show Class Sponsor - $600
  One of the show classes named after your family, listed as such in the program book. Opportunity to present ribbons to class winners.
