2008 Myopia Horse Show
The 108th annual Myopia Horse Show is going to be our best show ever! With full use of the Myopia Schooling Field Show Grounds this year, including the Grand Prix Jumper Field, the show can really expand. We now have room for more classes, on both the Sporting Hunter and Jumper days. We have space for more tents for our patrons and sponsors who can enjoy the pre-show cocktail party and the fabulous gourmet luncheon served during the Mini-Prix Show Jumping. We have room for our vendors who offer unique shopping opportunities from jewelry to saddles.
The Myopia Horse Show welcomes back Presenting Sponsor, Berry & Son., as well as many of our sponsors from previous years who enable us to again offer purses for both the Mini-Prix, the Speed Stake, and our new addition of the Derby Cross. Last year, the Derby Cross was so much fun for competitors, and such a huge crowd pleaser, that we have decided to add more divisions with more prize money. Combining the speed and agility of show jumping with the boldness of cross-country, Derby Cross attracts show jumpers, fox hunters, and three day eventers from all over the East Coast.
Mark you calendar for Labor Day Weekend, Sat. August 30- Mon. Sept. 1st as the weekend to enjoy the Myopia Horse Show!
